What a neat plant! This Agave has white markings like Asian writing on dark green skin. Because it's a King it gets these great black crown shaped thorns on the tip of each leaf as it matures. This Agave is one of a kind and a must have. Agave Ferdinandi regis is the most open and sun hardy form of Queen Vicoria's agaves. This clone won Best in Show at the Desert Botanical Garden's annual show.
