| Very showy with the sharp contrast between the white middle and blue-gray margins of the leaves. This becomes a mid-size form of A. Americana reaching about 3' in heighth. These are often planted in massed arrays which seems to miss the point altogether. The individuality of this agave is its' strength so to force it into an anonymous crowd where it is just one of many certainly goes against common sense. Taste is personal and like opinions everyone has one. You can dwarf this agave by keeping it root bound and under potted. |
