This agave was collected by Lee McClure of Morristown in the Davis Mountains of West Texas several decades ago. It belongs in the Parryi family and is very frost hardy as well as taking our 110+ heat. The form remains pyramid like as it grows with the beautiful teeth along the leaf edges and long terminal spines. The wide leaves show quite a lot of bud marking. I have never seen this offered by any other nursery.
