I have never gotten an absolutely positive ID on this agave. Our stock plant was a gift from David Eppele. We fell in love with its' bright green color and trouble free growth habits. It can become fairly large as reaches about 3 to 4 feet tall if given room to grow. In a pot it becomes dwarfed and can be maintained for years in a smaller size. The texture of the skin is smooth as silk. I expect to pick up a Cactus Journal some day and read about this new discovery when it will receive a new name.
