I'm hearing once again of those pesky ANTS! We need to have a few for our friends the lizards eating enjoyment. Maybe if we can cut down the number of them, there won't be as many mealybugs and aphids around for them to "farm".   Ants will move the mealy bugs and aphids around to better food supplies in exchage for the mealybug or aphids excreting sugary snacks for the ants.

I use "Ant Killer" granules. Either sprinkle a little in your potted collections or around a plant that has that nice ring of fresh ant hill dirt and water lightly. The mounds that seem to be either harmless or not in a walkway I leave for my friends the lizards. We will never win this fight, but we can even the score!
